MANAGER OF THE YEAR
The much coveted AFORD Awards Manager of the Year has been won by Paul Piggott of Hollands & Blair FC, so his club retain the trophy won last season. This season's award became a very close affair, Holland & Blairs record of only 3 losses in 33 league and cup matches together with a disciplinary record that was within the awards criteria secured award for Paul.
Next year will mark the 21st season of Manager of the Month and Year awards, the League was delighted to announce at the Presentation Dinner that AFORD Awards have confirmed their continuing sponsorship.

APRIL 2010
WESTERN SECTION
Fleetdown United Reserves played six games during April, five wins and one draw earned manager Paul Lakin the Western Section Award. His team secured home wins against Chipstead 5-2 and Crockenhill 3-2 and drew at home to Bly Spartans 1-1. On their travels they defeated Fleet Leisure 4-3, Rusthall 3-1 and Chipstead 1-0. The trophy was presented by Bob Taylor a member of the League's Management Committee on 15th May. Fleetdown United's good form continued in May with three more wins to secure the Reserve Division West title.

MARCH 2010
EASTERN SECTION
The 391st award overall since they commenced in 1990 was made to the joint managers of Malgo FC, Kevin Waugh and and Keith Mackay on Saturday, 1oth April by League Chairman Cyril Windiate. Malgo had four wins in March scoring 18 goals and conceding none! The defeated Platt United 3-0, trounced Tenterden Town away 8-0, won 4-0 against Swale United and secured a 3-0 win at Pembury.

WESTERN SECTION
Eltham Palace Manager Terry Naden is the Western Section winner for February, he received his trophy from League Chairman Cyril Windiate on Saturday, 10th April before their win at league leaders Forest Hill Park. Eletham Palace secured three wins in March, two away 2-0 at Westerham and 2-1 at Erith 147 Sports togther with a home victory 2-0 against Crofton Albion.

PREMIER DIVISION
Willie O'Sullivan of Cray Valley (PM) has won the Premier Division award for March. His team won all four of their games in March including the London Intermediate Cup Final victory over Erith Town Reserves 2-1 (AET). In addition they recorded league victories over Coney Hall 5-1 away and 1-0 at home and a 3-1 win at Snodland.

FEBRUARY 2010
WESTERN SECTION
Greenways Reserves are the winners of the Western Section award for February, their manager Steve Hearn received his trophy from League Chairman Cyril Windiate on Saturday, 13th March. Greenways also had three away games in the month. They drew 1-1 at Orpington, and had victories 5-3 at Chipsted and 4-0 at Stansfeld O&B.

PREMIER DIVISION Premier Division new boys Sutton Athletic secured the award for their manager Guy Eldridge, who received his trophy from League Vice President Philip Smith on Saturday, 6th March. All of Sutton's matches were away from home in February, they recorded three victories and scored 15 goals! They defeated Snodland 5-1, Tonbridge Invicta 5-1 and Coney Hall 6-2. Their successes on their travels continued as following the presentation they went on to win 2-0 away at Rusthall.

EASTERN SECTION
Peter Manktelow, Manager of Hawkenbury FC, is a first time winner of the Aford Award sponsored Manager of the Month, he received his award for January from League Chairman Cyril Windiate on Saturday, 6th March. In the month Hawkenbury defeated Belverdere Reserves 7-2 in the Kent Junior Cup and in the league a 4-1 home win against Malgo and a 4-2 win over current league leaders Saga Sports and Social.

JANUARY 2010
EASTERN SECTION
Shaun Catt, Manager of Otford United Reserves FC, a previous Manager of the Month winner, received his award for January from League Chairman Cyril Windiate on Saturday, 13th February. January results included away victories 2-0 at APM and 4-0 at Borden Village.

PREMIER DIVISION Dave Fairclough, Manager of Canterbury City FC, received his award for January from League Chairman Cyril Windiate on Saturday, 6th February. A previous Eastern Section winner this is Dave's first Premier Division award. His team secured three victories in January, 4-0 at home to Coney Hall, an away win 2-1 at Orpingtion and 2-1 win over Premier in the Bill Manklow Inter-Regional Challenge Cup.

DECEMBER 2009

NOVEMBER 2009
EASTERN SECTION
Scott Kennett, Manager of Premier FC, received his award for November from League Chairman Cyril Windiate on Saturday, 2nd January. In November Premier recorded three victories, 3-1 at home to Larkfield & New Hythe Wanderers. A 4-3 win away at Sheerness East in the Inter Regional Challenge Cup and a 3-2 away win at AFC Sheppey. This is the first time in the history of the awards that the presentations have not been completed in the following month, however, all Premier's games in December were postponed.

WESTERN SECTION
Bexlians manager Rick Everest collected his first Manager of the Month award. His team recorded three wins in November, 6-2 against Meridian and 5-0 against Westerham both at home and a 2-0 victory away to Eltham Palace. Together with their good disciplinary record secured the award for Rick. The award was presented by League Chairman Cyril Windiate.
PREMIER DIVISION
Rusthall Manager John Ronaldson has won the Premier Division November Manager of the Month Award. In the month his team recorded three wins, 2-1 against Lewisham Borough, 3-0 at Orpington and 1-0 against Cray Valley (PM) which, allied to their good disciplinary record, secured the award for John. John was also the winner of a monthly award last season.

OCTOBER 2009
PREMIER DIVISION
Danny Sulman of Phoenix Sports has won the October Premier Division Award. During the month Phoenix Sports won two league games and drew another all away from home, 2-2 against Orpington, 4-0 at Stansfeld O&B Club and 2-1 against Canterbury City. In the Kent Intermediate Challenge Shield they recorded victories over Premier 3-0 and Greenways 2-0. This was Danny's first Premier Division Award but has won two Western Section Awards in 2005. The presentation was made by League Chairman Cyril Windiate.
This was the 94th Premier Division award and the 380th overall since the Manager of the Month awards commenced in 1990.
WESTERN SECTION
Orpington Reserves managed by Andy Duffin defeated Chipstead Res 2-1 and followed this with three away victories, 4-2 at Stansfeld O&B Club Res, 3-2 at Fleet Leisure Res and 2-1 at Greenways Res. Together with their good disciplinary record secured the award for Andy.

AFC Sevenoaks Manager, Ray Peprah has won the October Eastern Section Manager of the Month Award. In the month his team won 4-1 at Chartham Sports, 1-0 at Pembury, 7-0 at home to Tenterden Town and a 2-1 victory at Lanes End which, allied to their good disciplinary record, secured this first award for Ray.

Lanes End Player/Manager Marc Elliott has won the September Eastern Section Manager of the Month Award. Three league victories, 2-0 against Chartham Sports, 3-0 against Pembury and 5-0 versus Tenterden Town together with a 6-2 win (AET) against Holmesdale A in the Kent Junior Cup which, allied to their good disciplinary record, secured this first award for Paul.

WESTERN SECTION
Seven Acre Sports FC are playing their first season in the Kent County League. Managed by Steve Kirkby they kicked off their campaign with a 1-1 against Erith 147 and followed that with a 6-3 win against Bexley Borough, 6-0 winners against Bridon Ropes in the London FA Cup and a 3-1 away to Borough United. With just two cautions in these games, this record enabled Steve to also win his first award.
